The Chicken Realtor?!

written by Rebecca Engelhardt

I’m sitting with Stacy Gee asking her basic questions for her the article, however, we drifted…and drifted…and drifted. You see, Stacy and I have been friends since Kindergarten at Lakeview Elementary. We reminisced about slumber parties and trouble we may or may not have gotten into! Stacy has lived in Mt. Juliet for almost her entire 43 years. She’s what we call a “Unicorn:” a mythical person who grew up in MJ and remembers the old days of gravel roads and fields as far as you could see. Not long after she graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 1994, she met the love of her life, Chris. They were soon married and starting their family. Her two children, Christian and Avery, are a ray of sunshine and pride for her. She spends as much time with them as she can.

Stacy started her successful Real Estate career in 2003 under a shroud of criticism from some “higher-ups” in the industry. Without looking back, Stacy has consistently maintained top ranks for sales and service within the industry and her peers. She has gained unprecedented recognition for her “go above and beyond” attitude towards her profession. Stacy even wrote up an offer for one of her clients at 11 p.m. while in Destin on the beach, even on vacation she was going to take care of it personally!

So, when Stacy is not doing real estate, dominating social media and being a mom, she loves tending and talking to her 17 chickens and three dogs. She even finds some time to read, as Chris fishes on their pond.
I could go on and on about how much respect I have for Stacy and exactly how impressive her resume is, but I don’t want to use that much ink! Stacy loves how the rest of her team at Benchmark Realty also shares a passion for life and taking care of their clients. I am so happy that my friend found a career that lets her be your friend, too.
