Humble Beginnings

written by Rebecca Engelhardt

If you have driven by the intersection of Lebanon Rd and Nonaville recently, you’ve noticed a new face to the MJ scene!
When the Humble Hoagie opens at the end of September, it will be so much more than a sandwich shop.

The owners, Paul and Jess Maracci, want to ensure their customers have a hometown feel with amazing options. Paul has over 20 years in the industry and a very diverse menu in the works. He will even serve up sandwiches with his own smoked pastrami, corn beef and more!

Thinking he could do a mean breakfast?? You’re in luck! They will open at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday and offer a full menu all day!
They will be closed on Sunday to focus on faith and family.
Now that your mouth is watering over The Humble Hoagie, you may be wondering, “Who ARE these amazing people?”.

Paul and Jess are originally from Pennsylvania but, like so many of us, found their home here in Mt. Juliet, after moving to Tennessee 10 years ago.
The Maracci’s have been married over nine years and have two precious daughters. When they are not busy with their active church schedule, they love taking a family day at the lake or playing board games. As a friend and neighbor of Jess and Paul, I can vouch that opening a sandwich shop has been a dream of Paul’s for many years.

I hope you will welcome The Humble Hoagie to our MJ arena of family-owned businesses and tell them, Krys, Livi and Becs with Life Between the Lakes sent ya!!
